WebSep 11, 2024 · your measurements of the 250ohm and 600ohm are negligible since beyer headphones change in sound over time and the graphs are almost identical in smoothness once pads are worn down. your measurements show a 6khz peak which goes away entirely after "burned in" fully. keep in mind this change only takes a couple of months. They measure almost identically through most of the frequency range, but one has 1-2 dB more lower mids and bass than the other, which easily explains what I heard prior to measuring.

I suspect that those two notches are part of Oratory's measurement system, rather than the headphones.
