WebThe IProgressMonitor interface is implemented by objects that monitor the progress of an activity; the methods in this interface are invoked by code that performs the activity. All activity is broken down into a linear sequence of tasks against which progress is reported. WebWhen asynchronous methods report progress, they use an abstraction of the “progress reporter” concept: IProgress. This interface has a single method: void Report (T value). You can’t get much simpler than that! An asynchronous method that wants to report progress just takes an IProgress parameter, with some appropriate type for T.
