In this work we show that with mixing two organic materials trans,trans -1,4-distyrylbenzene (DSB) and 1,4-Bis [4- (di-p-tolylamino)styryl]benzene (NDSB), noticeable anisotropy can be introduced in the DSB/NDSB microplates.
