Was thinking about taking up an offer to do bit of river fishing, but got no gear for the job ( been over 25 years since last tackled a river ) . I've had tench and barbel to just under 8lbs on the Avons, also 6lb barbel and 9lb pike on the lighter rod without feeling undergunned. You only die once, so live each day well!
